My little piece of heaven! This is where I go for peace and quiet and to hang with my dogs...I live out here almost as much as I live inside. You are looking at about half of my backyard, it goes to the left about the same distance. That's what I call lucky!

I was at a friend's retirement party today and they made her a "bouquet of friends" -each person picked a type of flower and said something about the person and then put a small bouquet of that type of flower into the vase. At the end she had a beautiful bouquet of friends! I particularly liked the sunflowers. I think I need to grow some again!

Ok..so I have to confess..I love the lighter weight and smaller size of the Kindle- but that is where it stops- how can it even compare...I know- it is all about purpose...but if the purpose is for reading-I can honestly say I would rather read with backlight, color and touch screen...just my 2 cents....anyone want to buy a "barely used" Kindle...LOL

365/152: My Ride-1997 Baby
Today’s Daily Shoot assignment: How do you get around: car, train, bicycle, plane, feet? Make a photo that represents your mode of transportation today. I love my 4Runner! 13 years old and still going strong! Sure. I'd love it if the cup holder didn't hang over the radio and air controls and if there wasn't the bite marks on the leather from Zoey as a pup- BUT it's bought and paid for just about to hit 100,000 miles and if I washed and waxed it once in awhile, it would look good as new! I don't care what they say about Toyota- this SUV has been super!
